Iris Law is making her own name in the fashion world. Born on October 25, 2000, in London, she comes from a family you might know. Her parents are actors Jude Law and Sadie Frost. But Iris isn’t just famous because of her family – she’s worked hard to build her own career.

Growing up creative

Iris grew up around art, fashion, and movies. This creative home life helped spark her interest in fashion early on. She finished school in 2017, getting her GCSEs like other British teens. After that, she studied textiles at Central Saint Martins, one of London’s best art schools.

Starting out in modeling

Iris began modeling when she was young. Her first big job was for a British brand called Illustrated People. This helped people notice her talent.

Her big break came when designer Christopher Bailey picked her to be the face of Burberry’s beauty campaign. This was huge – Burberry is one of Britain’s most famous fashion brands.

Since then, Iris has worked with many top fashion houses. She’s modeled for Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, La Perla, Stella McCartney, and Versace. In 2021, she became a Dior Beauty ambassador, which shows how much the fashion world values her look and style.

Trying acting

In 2022, Iris tried something new – acting. She played a character called Soo Catwoman in a TV show called “Pistol.” The show tells the story of the famous punk band, the Sex Pistols.

To really become her character, Iris made a bold choice. She shaved off all her hair! This showed how serious she was about acting and how willing she was to change her look for a role.

Life outside work

Iris stays close to her family, including her parents and her brothers. There were stories that she dated football player Trent Alexander-Arnold, but it seems they weren’t together for very long.

On social media (@Iirisaw), Iris shares glimpses of her work and life with fans. She has a unique style that mixes classic fashion with modern trends.

Her mix of modeling talent, fashion sense, and new acting skills shows she’s not just following one path. Iris Law is becoming known for being herself – creative, bold, and willing to try new things.

As she continues growing her career, more people are noticing Iris for her own talents rather than just her famous family name.

Common questions about Iris Law

How is Iris Law related to Kate Moss?

Iris Law isn’t directly related to Kate Moss by blood. Their connection comes through family friendships. Kate Moss is Iris’s godmother – a special adult chosen by parents to help guide their child. Kate and Iris’s mother, Sadie Frost, have been close friends for many years. This connection gave Iris an early look into the modeling world, as Kate Moss is one of the most famous models of all time.

Why is Iris Law famous?

Iris Law is famous for her successful modeling career, working with brands like Burberry, Miu Miu, and Dior Beauty. While she initially gained attention as the daughter of actors Jude Law and Sadie Frost, she’s established her own reputation in fashion. Recently, she’s expanded into acting with her role in the TV series “Pistol.” Her distinctive style and willingness to transform her look (like shaving her head) have helped her stand out in the competitive fashion industry.

Why did Iris Law shave her head?

Iris Law shaved her head in 2021 for her acting role as Soo Catwoman in the TV series “Pistol” about the punk band Sex Pistols. The real Soo Catwoman had a distinctive short hairstyle in the 1970s punk scene. Rather than using wigs, Iris committed fully to the character by actually shaving her head. She later mentioned that she found the look liberating and kept the short style even after filming ended, making it part of her own fashion identity.
